Mika is sculpted by Sabilla Bos. She is my first Native American reborn and she has truly been a pleasure to create. I really enjoyed shopping on the 6 Nations reserve for many of the materials that I created her outfit and headband with. I was also able to find the cutest little moccasins for her there. I have have put a lot of time into mixings colors and carefully mottling her to achieve her true to live skin tones. Mika's head, 3/4 length arms, legs and belly plate have been delicately detailed with layer upon layer of Genesis heat set paints.

Body & Weighting

I have been careful not to over stuff Mika's white flannel body so she poses well. Her head is gently weighted with micro glass beads, so you will need to support it when you cuddle her. Her legs, arms and body are also filled with a micro glass beads, polly pellets and fibrefill to give this little sweetie a real baby weight.

Hair

Mika's little head has been micro rooted with high quality baby soft black mohair. Her hair has been sealed from the inside with waterproof glue so you are able to lightly wash and comb it.

Hands, Feet & Belly Plate

Mika's little hands, feet and belly plate have been painted with just the right amount of shadowing for the most realistic look, just like a real baby.

Face Skintone & Eyes

Several layers of Genesis paint were applied to create Mika's beautiful coloring. She has two very strong magnets inserted inside her head so she is able to hold her hand crocheted pacifier, hair bow and hand made headband. If this is a problem, just let me know and I can remove them. I have used glass ebony eyes to compliment her beautiful skintone.
